Included will be tips and tricks on proper rail preparation, placement, alignment and soldering of all rails. Included will be tips to make your switch come out perfectly from an operations standpoint. It will cover proper insulation of all ties and approaches to minimize wire runs while maintaining excellent connectivity. It will also show the proper soldering techniques and how to ensure that rails and ties are properly secured.
  • 2:00 PM – Steve Perry, MMR, will demonstrate an application of the 3-D modeling program, OpenSCAD. Steve will show how he designed, and 3-D printed the walls and roof a small bungalow, using only a few functions from the program’s repertory.
